Pre-C Meets: All swimmers who have not achieved a “C” time or have not swum an event are eligible for these meets. Swimmers are allowed to swim one “C” time event. The goal of these novice meets is to give inexperienced swimmers a chance to compete in a relaxed environment. Most Pre-C meets are practice meets, and times earned are not official times. If a Pre-C meet is designated as "Sanctioned," then times earned are official.
Open Meets: These meets are for all of our swimmers, offering a more competitive environment for all levels of swimmers.
Invitational / Quad: These meets are the same as the Open meets, but the host team chooses whom to invite. The STORM has a strong relationship with the TWIN team and is fortunate to be invited to all of their meets at the U of M.
State / "A" Swim Meets: To attend these meets, you must achieve a “Champ” or an “A” time for the respective meet. These are high level competitions and the meets run fast. The 13 and over age groups may have preliminary races in the morning and final races in the evening.
